Our Roots

First Methodist Church Preschool of Mount Holly has been serving the community for over 40 years. Our program and curriculum is designed to be developmentally appropriate and child centered to encourage learning and prepare each child for kindergarten.

Our Biblically integrated program is designed for students age 1 – 5.

Preschool hours are 8:30 am – 12:00 pm

with office hours 8:00 am – 2:00 pm daily.

We are closed on Saturday and Sunday.

Our experienced teachers provide each child the opportunity to:

Develop a sense of security and well being in a group setting
Express him/herself creatively through daily art activities
Grow their curiosity through the use of STEM toys and sensory activities
Develop fine motor skills and coordination through play with blocks, puzzles, safety scissors, etc.
Establish appropriate health and bathroom habits
Learn to listen to and follow simple instructions
Work on letter, color, and shape recognition in preparation for Kindergarten
